1. Your choice
Necessary storage keeps cognisearch.net secure and remembers your privacy choice. Analytics cookies are optional. You can accept analytics, keep only essential storage, choose granular settings, or change your mind later without losing access to the site.
2. Categories
- Necessary. CookieYes stores a consent ID and category choices so the banner works and your decision can be honoured. This category cannot be disabled.
- Analytics. With permission, Google Analytics 4 measures site use and Microsoft Clarity supplies aggregated interaction reports, heatmaps, and masked session recordings.
- Advertisement and personalisation. Cognisearch does not deploy advertising tags on this site. Advertising storage, ad user data, ad personalisation, functionality storage, and personalisation storage stay denied.
3. Current cookie inventory
CookieYes maintains the published production inventory below and runs a scheduled full-site scan each month. The inventory and live browser verification cover the necessary cookieyes-consent record and, only after analytics is accepted, the GA4 _ga and _ga_1DW8CB5S9X cookies plus the Clarity _clck and _clsk cookies. Browser controls or provider changes may shorten a listed duration.
4. Advanced consent mode
Before your choice, all seven Google consent signals are set: analytics, advertising, ad-user-data, ad-personalisation, functionality, and personalisation storage are denied; only security storage is granted. Accepting analytics grants only analytics_storage. Rejecting or withdrawing keeps it denied.
Google Tag Manager may load while storage is denied. In this advanced mode, GA4 and Clarity can send limited cookieless measurement signals, but they may not write their analytics cookies or maintain full session continuity. CookieYes passes changes to Google Consent Mode v2 and the Microsoft Clarity Consent API.
5. What is measured
Our GA4 configuration measures page views and two non-personal business events: a confirmed contact-form success and a click that opens Calendly. Those events contain only a form identifier, booking provider or URL, and page path. They never contain names, email addresses, messages, or form contents.
Clarity may record page interactions after analytics consent. Input boxes and dropdown values are masked in every Clarity masking mode, and the complete contact form is expressly masked. Masked values are not uploaded to Clarity.
6. Retention
- The necessary CookieYes choice is valid for up to 12 months.
- GA4 user and event data is configured for 14 months; GA cookies can remain for up to two years unless shortened or cleared.
- Clarity playback data is available for 30 days. Click and heatmap data, and labelled or favourited sessions, can remain for up to 13 months. Clarity’s first-party
_clckand_clskcookies are present only after analytics consent.
7. External services
Calendly, Instagram, Facebook, and linked client websites apply their own privacy and cookie practices after you choose to visit them. Their storage is not placed by cognisearch.net merely because a link appears here.
8. Change or withdraw consent
Select “Manage cookies” in the footer at any time. The preference centre lets you save granular settings or choose “Only essential.” Withdrawal updates Google and Clarity consent, stops consented analytics-session continuity, and removes Cognisearch’s first-party GA4 and Clarity cookies. Microsoft third-party cookies cannot be deleted by cognisearch.net; after withdrawal Clarity receives the denied state, and you can remove those existing cookies immediately in your browser. CookieYes also recognises Global Privacy Control.
9. Contact
Questions about cookies or measurement can be sent to contact@cognisearch.net. See the privacy policy for wider information handling and rights.
